Hearing and Vision Screening Test

Our annual hearing and vision screening will take place on Thursday, October 16. While the screenings are managed by our school nurses, we ask for parent volunteers to assist with paperwork, screenings and student movement to help the day run smoothly. Volunteers are needed for both morning and afternoon sessions. There will be a brief required training session prior to each shift.

Please only sign up if you can arrive by the listed time.

Morning shift 9a - 12:30p | Afternoon shift 12:30 - 3:00p

Breakdown of volunteer stations:

• 5 volunteers for hearing screening stations (training provided)
• 1 runner to grab classes (helps to be familiar with the school layout)
• 1 volunteer to help manage the line (keeping the line quiet and direct students to open screening stations)
• 1 volunteer to manage hallway for kids transferring from vision to hearing
• 1-2 volunteers to assist with vision screening
